New higher fines in Moldova for traffic violations
After the latest changes in the Traffic Law in Moldova new higher fines and stronger penalties for traffic violations are applied.
The fines, in case of traffic rule offences, in Moldova are set in conventional units. One conventional unit is equal to MDL 50.
The offender has the right to pay the half of the imposed fine, if he/she pay it within 72 hours after the imposed penalty.
The voted penalties for some traffic offenses (except fine) is free community, withdrawing of the driver’s license and even more severe penalties.
